This photo was taken by my good friend Donald from San Francisco. It shows Lighthouse Beach at
Seal Rocks where 35 false killer whales beached themselves in 1992. Seal Rocks are actually about five kilometers off shore from the lighthouse itself. Locals tell me that despite the name seals are only very rarely seen in the area.
