A pelican rests on a sinking fishing boat just off the lake shore at Green Point. Wallis Lake has one
of the greatest concentrations of the Pacific Pelican in the world. If you are game you can kayak out to
pelican island (seen in the distance) where they breed. Be warned though, pelican island is an island with
a meter thick layer of pelican poo!
