Wallis Lake supports many commercial fisherman and is in fact bigger than Sydney Harbour. Take an early
morning stroll alone Wharf Lane from Lakeview Cottage and watch the local fisherman sort their nights catch. Catch types include bream, flathead, mullet, prawn, mudcrab, blue swimmer crabs. Wild porpoise and logger head turtles frequently pay a visit this far up the lake from the ocean entrance.
