Lakeview
Cottage is located at number 42 Green Point Drive, and is just
eight minutes drive into Forster Shopping village yet a world
away from the bustle of town. Green Point is within the easiest
access of the best beaches in the area plus it has the advantage
of lakeside water for the less adventurous with plenty of space
to find you own piece of paradise.

The
large spacious deck overlooks Wallis Lake, has a gas BBQ and is
west facing for you to enjoy the most spectacular of sunsets behind
Whoota Whoota lookout. Pets are very welcome to use the deck or
the fully secured back garden but are not permitted in the living
area of the property. There is a secure and warm sleeping area
in the laundry for the most discerning of canines or felines.
|
|
| Lakeview
Cottage is naturally light, airy yet warm with its position facing
due east and west to take advantage of early morning and late afternoon
sunshine and sea breezes. Entertaiment includes video, DVD player,
movie library and radio/cd/cassette player. |
|
| The
modern kitchen has an electric stove top and oven with microwave
oven and dish washer. All kitchen appliances are provided together
with freshly ground Australian grown plunger coffee, tea and milk.
Full laundry facilities are also available for the dreaded washing. |
|
| There
are two bedrooms and all linen is provided with beds made up for
your arrival. This bedroom looks out over the deck across to Wallis
Lake.
Bathroom
facilities include seperate toilet and shower.
We
try to ensure a very high standard of cleanliness at all times.
Both bedrooms have double beds but we can make arrangements for
a single bed if required.

| Tom
proudly displays one of the mud crabs he caught in the lake whilst
on holiday from the UK. The spiny fella weighed in at 1.6 Kgs. A
crab pot is available for use with our three man Canadian kayak
for those with the hunter gatherer instinct. For those without it,
Great Lakes Fishermans Coop will be happy to oblige. |
 |
| The
view overlooking Wallis Lake and Little Snake Island (no, there's
no snakes there). Take the kayak for a paddle at sunset to see the
pelican colony or even the odd porpoise cruising up the channel. |

A
beautifully kept cottage in a peaceful & tranquil setting. It
gave us exactly what we would have wished for, from our stay in

Thought
7 mile beach was beautiful (and long) until I saw 9 mile beach yesterday.
The cottage is a delight. It has a gorgeous view, gentle breezes
and all the comforts of home. You could sit all day on the spacious
deck and watch the activity on the lake and listen to the birds
in the Gum trees above. Yes, there are wild parrots, parakeets,
cockatoos everywhere. The main problem is living next to a great
espresso bar and gift shop. I'm not losing any weight. The mudpack
was scrumptious. Life here on the coast is much more enjoyable than
in Sydney. Although life in the city is full of exciting things
to do, it is noisy, hot and humid. Here there are constant breezes
and peace and quiet. It will be hard to leave! |

No
place like Green Point to soothe the soul, soften the edges, and
turn weary grey faces back into hues of sunshine. Torquise waters
and peace of mind. Much thanks. |
